Kodai Senga is a Japanese professional baseball pitcher currently playing for the New York Mets in MLB, debuting in 2023. Before joining the Mets, he played for the Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks in Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) starting in 2012. He is a three-time NPB All-Star. He earned an MLB All-Star selection in his first season. Senga has also represented Japan in international baseball competitions.
