Lou Lamoriello is a prominent American ice hockey executive, recently serving as President of Hockey Operations and General Manager for the New York Islanders. He's known for his long tenure as General Manager of the New Jersey Devils (1987-2015), the third-longest in NHL history with a single team. Before joining the Islanders, he also served as General Manager of the Toronto Maple Leafs after resigning from the Devils. Lamoriello's career is marked by significant leadership in NHL franchises.
