The Mexico national football team represents Mexico in international men's soccer. Governed by the Federación Mexicana de Fútbol, it joined FIFA in 1929 and was a founding member of CONCACAF in 1961. Previously, Mexico belonged to NAFC (1946-1961), a former North American football governing body and CONCACAF predecessor, and the unified confederation of the Americas, PFC.
