Moonbin, a South Korean artist under Fantagio, was a singer, actor, and dancer. He was a prominent member of the boy group Astro and also part of the sub-unit Moonbin & Sanha. Moonbin was a recognized figure in the South Korean entertainment industry.

He and band-mate Sanha debuted as Astro's first sub-unit Moonbin & Sanha with the release of their debut EP, In-Out, along with its lead single, "Bad Idea", on September 14. The unit received their first music show win from The Show eight days later.

According to Fantagio's statement on April 21, Moonbin was buried on April 22, 2023. His family requested that the funeral procession and burial site remain private.
