Rick Springfield

Rick Springfield, born Richard Lewis Springthorpe, is an Australian-American musician and actor who gained fame as a solo artist after his time with the band Zoot (1969-1971). His debut single, "Speak to the Sky," was successful in Australia in 1972. Moving to the US, he achieved a number one hit with "Jessie's Girl" in 1981, earning him a Grammy Award. He had four more Top 10 hits in the US, including "I've Done Everything for You," "Don't Talk to Strangers," "Affair of the Heart," and "Love Somebody". His albums *Working Class Dog* (1981) and *Success Hasn't Spoiled Me Yet* (1982) both reached the US Top 10.
