Rick Springfield

Rick Springfield, born Richard Lewis Springthorpe, is an Australian-American musician and actor. He gained initial recognition as a member of the pop rock band Zoot before embarking on a successful solo career. His debut single, "Speak to the Sky," charted in Australia. Springfield achieved mainstream success in the United States with the No. 1 hit "Jessie's Girl" in 1981, earning him a Grammy Award. He followed with several more top 10 hits, including "I've Done Everything for You" and "Don't Talk to Strangers." His albums *Working Class Dog* and *Success Hasn't Spoiled Me Yet* both reached the top 10 in the US.
