Rui Hachimura

Rui Hachimura is a Japanese professional basketball player currently playing for the Los Angeles Lakers in the NBA. Before joining the Lakers, he played college basketball for the Gonzaga Bulldogs and was drafted ninth overall by the Washington Wizards in the 2019 NBA draft. He earned NBA All-Rookie Second Team honors in 2020. Hachimura also represents the Japan national team and plays both the small forward and power forward positions.
