October 2025: Deadline extended to submit deposition for US lawsuit

In April 2025, the news reported that Russell Brand was accused in the civil action case filed in New York state, accusing him of sexual assault whilst intoxicated, whilst filming Arthur. While his legal team's request for a delay was rejected, the deadline to submit his deposition for the US lawsuit was extended to 30 October 2025.

June 2026: Trial scheduled to begin
