Salt Typhoon is a suspected Chinese state-sponsored cyber espionage group, attributed to the Ministry of State Security (MSS). The group focuses on counterintelligence targets in the US, stealing corporate intellectual property. The group has also targeted organizations across numerous countries. A former NSA analyst characterized the group as part of China's long-term strategic objectives.
