History of Sarepta in Timeline
Sarepta, also known as Zarephath, was a Phoenician city located on the Mediterranean coast between Sidon and Tyre. Historically significant, it later became a bishopric. While the bishopric faded over time, Sarepta remains a double Catholic titular see. Its historical importance and archaeological interest are noteworthy.
