St Paul's Cathedral

St Paul's Cathedral, located on Ludgate Hill in London, is an Anglican cathedral and the seat of the Bishop of London. The current cathedral, designed by Sir Christopher Wren in the English Baroque style, was completed in 1710 after the Great Fire of London. The Grade I listed building stands on the site of the original cathedral church founded in AD 604 dedicated to Paul the Apostle. Its predecessor was a Gothic cathedral that was largely destroyed in the fire, but was a central feature of London during the medieval and early modern periods, notably including Paul's Walk and St Paul's Churchyard.
