Sunny Mehta is an American hockey executive and data scientist, currently serving as general manager for the New Jersey Devils. He previously pioneered the first full-time analytics department in the NHL as director of hockey analytics for the Devils. As assistant manager, Mehta won two Stanley Cups with the Florida Panthers. Beyond hockey, he has had a diverse career as a professional poker player, writer, options trader, and musician, co-authoring two best-selling poker strategy books.
