2012: Last Mid-Major 40 Points

In 2012, it was the last time a mid-major player scored 40 points against an AP-Top 10 opponent before Eaglestaff did it in 2024.

July 5, 2021: Commitment to North Dakota

On July 5, 2021, Treysen Eaglestaff announced his commitment to play basketball for North Dakota, also having received an offer from Abilene Christian.

2024: 40 Points vs. Alabama

During the 2024–25 season, Eaglestaff gained national recognition for scoring 40 points against No. 6 Alabama, marking him as the first mid-major player to achieve this against an AP-Top 10 opponent since 2012.
