Weak Hero Class 1

Weak Hero Class 1 is a South Korean television series based on the webtoon Weak Hero by Seopass and Kim Jin-seok (Razen). Directed by Yoo Soo-min, Kim Jin-seok, and Park Dan-hee, it stars Park Ji-hoon, Choi Hyun-wook, and Hong Kyung. The first three episodes premiered at the 27th Busan International Film Festival in October 2022, and the first season was released on Wavve in November 2022.

2004: Inspiration from Once Upon a Time in High School

In 2004, Kwon Sang-woo's film, Once Upon a Time in High School, inspired Park Ji-hoon. The climax at the end of Episode 8 is a direct homage to the final scene in the latter.
