A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms is a prequel television series to Game of Thrones, based on George R.R. Martin's Tales of Dunk and Egg novellas, starting with The Hedge Knight. It tells the story of Ser Duncan "Dunk" the Tall, a hedge knight (played by Peter Claffey), and his squire, Aegon "Egg" Targaryen (played by Dexter Sol Ansell). The series is created by Ira Parker and George R. R. Martin and expands the A Song of Ice and Fire franchise.
