History of ACC Championship Game in Timeline
The ACC Championship Game is an annual college football game held in early December to determine the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC) champion. From 2005 to 2019 and 2021-2022, it featured the champions of the Coastal and Atlantic Divisions. Starting in 2023, the top two teams with the best conference records compete for the championship in Charlotte, North Carolina. Clemson won the 2024 championship game against SMU.
