Afton Motorsports Park is a 3/8-mile dirt oval raceway situated on the Afton Fairgrounds within New York's Southern Tier Region. It is a venue for dirt track racing events. The track provides racing entertainment to the local community and surrounding areas.

In 1991, weekly stock car racing was introduced at the Afton racetrack, which had previously been used for horse racing and motorcycle racing.
2009: Dave and Joanne Rocket Become Promoters
In 2009, Dave and Joanne Rocket from Bethel Motor Speedway became the promoters of the Afton racetrack after it had been dormant for two years.
2010: Jaime and Denise Page Take Over Operations and Rename Facility
In 2010, Jaime and Denise Page took over operations of the racetrack and renamed it I-88 Speedway to reflect the nearby interstate.
2017: Ron Ford Contracts and Rebrands Facility to Afton Motorsports Park
In 2017, Ron Ford contracted directly with the Afton Fair Board and rebranded the I-88 Speedway facility to Afton Motorsports Park.
2024: Track Leased to Spoonhower Family
In 2024, the Afton Motorsports Park track was leased to the Spoonhower family, who are operators of the Thunder Mountain Speedway.
