Aliaksei Uladzimiravich Protas is a Belarusian professional ice hockey winger currently playing for the Washington Capitals in the NHL. He played junior hockey for the Prince Albert Raiders in the WHL. The Washington Capitals selected him 91st overall in the 2019 NHL entry draft. Protas debuted professionally in 2020 with Dinamo Minsk in the KHL. He has also represented Belarus in international competitions, playing for the national junior team at two World Junior Championships.
