America vs. The Justice Society is a four-issue comic book mini-series published by DC Comics from January to April 1985. The series features the Justice Society of America.

1951: Justice Society Retirement

In 1951, the Justice Society chose to disband rather than appear before the House Un-American Activities Committee, which demanded they unmask themselves, as depicted in Issue #2, "Trial by Congress" of America vs. The Justice Society.

December 1979: Publication of "The Defeat of the Justice Society!"

In December 1979, Adventure Comics #466, titled "The Defeat of the Justice Society!" by writer Paul Levitz, was published. It was the longest and last Justice Society of America story in Adventure Comics before the series' cancellation.

April 1985: America vs. The Justice Society Publication

In April 1985, DC Comics published the final issue of the four-issue comic book mini-series America vs. The Justice Society, which starred the Justice Society of America.
