Art Briles is an American football coach, most notably the former head coach of the Houston Cougars and Baylor Bears. He achieved significant success at Baylor, transforming the program into a national contender. In 2013, Art Briles led Baylor to one of the best seasons in school history, finishing with a school-record 11 wins and the Big 12 title. They earned a trip to the 2014 Fiesta Bowl.
On July 2, 2022, Briles led the Guelfi Firenze to win the 41st Italian Bowl championship game with a 21–17 upset over the Milano Seamen.
