Artie Burns is an American professional football cornerback currently playing for the Seattle Seahawks in the NFL. He was drafted by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft after playing college football at the University of Miami (FL).
In 2011, Artie Burns was selected for the All-USA high school track and field team by USA Today. Also in 2011, he won both the 110-meter hurdles and the 400-meter hurdles at the USA Youth outdoor track and field championships.
At the 2012 Bob Hayes Invitational, Artie Burns broke records in the 110 hurdles and the 300, previously set in 1985. In 2012, his 110 hurdles time was the second-fastest worldwide by a youth athlete. Also in 2012 Burns had the No. 5 time in the World (No. 1 in USA) in the 110-meter hurdles amongst junior athletes.
In 2014, Artie Burns broke the American junior record in the indoor 60-meter hurdles.
