It serves approximately three million customers across more than 1,400 communities in nine states, ranging from the Blue Ridge Mountains to the Rocky Mountains. It is one of the largest natural-gas-only distributors in the United States.

1906: Beginnings in Texas

In 1906, the history of Atmos Energy Corporation began in the Panhandle of Texas.
