Ausar Thompson

Ausar Thompson is an American professional basketball player currently with the Detroit Pistons of the NBA. A five-star recruit out of Pine Crest School, he opted to play for Overtime Elite (OTE), where he won two league titles and twice earned Finals MVP honors, also securing the league MVP in 2023. Thompson, twin brother of Amen Thompson, was drafted fifth overall by the Pistons in the 2023 NBA draft.

On October 25, 2023, Ausar Thompson made his NBA regular-season debut with the Detroit Pistons, recording four points, seven rebounds, three assists, and five blocks in a loss to the Miami Heat. He also became the youngest player in NBA history to record at least five blocks in his NBA debut.
