Ayush Mhatre is an Indian cricketer, currently serving as Captain of the India U19 Cricket team. He represents Mumbai in domestic cricket and plays for Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League. Mhatre is a rising talent in Indian cricket, showcasing his skills at both the national and league levels.

On May 3, 2025, Mhatre played a scintillating knock and scored 94 runs in 48 balls while chasing a daunting total of 214 against RCB, missing his first ever IPL century only by 6 runs.
Since July 2025, Mhatre has been leading the Indian U19 team. Under his captaincy, the team won the Youth ODI series against England 3-2 and later won the Youth ODI series against Australia 3-0 and the Youth Test series 2-0.
