History of Brooklyn Waterworks in Timeline
The Brooklyn Waterworks, or Milburn Pumping Station, was a significant building in Freeport, Long Island. Completed in 1890 and designed by architect Frank Freeman, it was praised as "Long Island's most ambitious Romanesque Revival design." This structure represented an important piece of local history and architectural heritage.
