Carlos Andres Cortes is an American professional baseball outfielder currently playing for the Athletics in Major League Baseball (MLB). He began his MLB career in 2025.

On June 25, 2018, Carlos Cortes was drafted by the Mets in the third round, with the 83rd overall selection, of the 2018 Major League Baseball draft; he signed with them for a reported $1 million signing bonus.

In 2022, Carlos Cortes split the season between the Double-A Binghamton Rumble Ponies and the Triple-A Syracuse Mets, making 123 appearances and achieving a .223/.295/.369 slash line with 12 home runs and 55 RBIs.
During the 2023 season, Carlos Cortes made 118 appearances for Triple-A Syracuse, batting .241/.355/.428 with 15 home runs and 54 RBIs.
