Coby Mayo is an American professional baseball third baseman currently playing for the Baltimore Orioles in MLB. He began his MLB career in 2024.

In 2018, as a sophomore at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, Coby Mayo batted .388 with seven home runs and survived the Stoneman Douglas shooting.
In 2019, as a junior, Coby Mayo hit .391 with four home runs and was named to the Under Armour All-America Baseball Game at Wrigley Field.
In 2020, Coby Mayo batted .455 as a senior before the season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
In 2020, Coby Mayo was drafted by the Baltimore Orioles in the fourth round (103rd overall) of the Major League Baseball draft and signed for $1.75 million, forgoing his commitment to the University of Florida. He did not play due to the minor league season's cancellation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic.
In 2021, Coby Mayo missed time due to a knee injury but made his professional debut in July with the Rookie-level Florida Complex League Orioles. In August he was promoted to the Delmarva Shorebirds of the Low-A East. He finished the season with a .319/.426/.555 slash line with nine home runs over 53 games between the two clubs.
In 2022, Coby Mayo began the season with the Aberdeen IronBirds of the High-A South Atlantic League. He was promoted to the Bowie Baysox of the Double-A Eastern League in late June and was later placed on the injured list with back spasms, before rehabbing with the Florida Complex League Orioles. Across 104 games, he had a .247/.326/.456 slash line with 19 home runs.
In 2023, Coby Mayo started the season with Bowie and was promoted to the Norfolk Tides of the Triple-A International League in early July. Over 140 games, he slashed .290/.410/.563 with 29 home runs and won the 2023 Eastern League Most Valuable Player Award.
On August 2, 2024, Coby Mayo was promoted to the major leagues for the first time.
In 2024, Coby Mayo made his Major League Baseball (MLB) debut for the Baltimore Orioles.
In 2024, Coby Mayo was a non-roster invitee to Orioles spring training, batting .326. He was assigned to Norfolk to start the season, batting .301/.375/.586 with 20 home runs in 77 games. He also won the 2024 International League Top MLB Prospect Award.
In 2025, Coby Mayo was optioned to Triple-A Norfolk to begin the season.
