History of Cornell University in Timeline
Cornell University, an Ivy League research university in Ithaca, New York, was co-founded in 1865 by Ezra Cornell and Andrew Dickson White. A co-educational and nonsectarian institution since its inception, Cornell hosts a large and diverse student body, with over 16,000 undergraduates and over 10,000 graduate students from across the United States and 130 countries.
