The Costa Rica national football team represents Costa Rica in international men's football. Governed by the Federación Costarricense de Fútbol, they have been members of FIFA since 1927 and a founding member of CONCACAF since 1961. Regionally, they are part of UNCAF since 1990. They previously belonged to CCCF (1938-1961), the former governing body of football in Central America and the Caribbean, and PFC (1946-1961), the unified confederation of the Americas. The team competes in various international tournaments, representing Costa Rica on the global stage.
