Dan Bylsma is an American professional ice hockey coach and former player. He served as head coach for NHL teams including the Seattle Kraken, Pittsburgh Penguins, and Buffalo Sabres. He also coached in the AHL and served as an assistant coach for the Detroit Red Wings. Bylsma led the Pittsburgh Penguins to a Stanley Cup victory in 2009, shortly after becoming their head coach. He also has served as the head coach for the United States men's national ice hockey team.
In 1988, Dan Bylsma began playing college hockey at Bowling Green State University.
