Desmond Bane is an American professional basketball player currently with the Orlando Magic in the NBA. Drafted 30th overall in 2020 by the Boston Celtics, he was quickly traded to the Memphis Grizzlies where he began his NBA career. Bane played college basketball at TCU. He was recognized for his strong debut season, earning a spot on the NBA All-Rookie Second Team. In 2025, Bane was traded to the Orlando Magic.
