Douglas Richard McDermott is an American professional basketball player, most recently with the Sacramento Kings. He achieved significant recognition during his college career at Creighton University, where he led the nation in scoring in 2013-14. McDermott was a three-time consensus first-team All-American and the consensus national player of the year in 2014. He concluded his college career as the fifth-highest scorer in NCAA Division I men's basketball history.
