Fred Armisen is an American comedian, actor, musician, and writer known for his work in television. He co-created and co-starred in the critically acclaimed IFC sketch comedy series *Portlandia* alongside Carrie Brownstein. Additionally, he co-created and starred in the IFC mockumentary series *Documentary Now!* and the Showtime comedy series *Moonbase 8*, further solidifying his presence in the comedy landscape.
