Aaron Gordon is a professional basketball player currently playing for the Denver Nuggets in the NBA. He was born in San Jose, California, and achieved considerable high school success at Archbishop Mitty High School, winning two state championships and twice being named California Mr. Basketball. He played college basketball for one year at the University of Arizona, contributing to their Pac-12 regular season title and Elite Eight appearance in the 2014 NCAA tournament.
During the 2016 NBA All-Star Weekend, Aaron Gordon's battle with Zach LaVine in the Slam Dunk Contest drew comparisons to the showdown between Michael Jordan and Dominique Wilkins in 1988.
