Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers is an American fast-casual restaurant chain headquartered in Wichita, Kansas. The restaurant is known for its menu offerings which primarily consist of steakburgers, Vienna Beef hot dogs, chicken sandwiches and frozen custard, including specialty sundaes. In 1943, Frederick L. "Freddy" Simon joined the U.S. Army infantry and served in the 1st Cavalry Division during World War II.
On August 26, 2002, the first Freddy's location opened near 21st Street and Tyler Road in Wichita, Kansas. It remains in operation.
