Ilya Proskuryakov is a Russian professional ice hockey goaltender. He is currently an unrestricted free agent, meaning he is not under contract with any team. His most recent team was Avangard Omsk in the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL), a major professional hockey league primarily based in Russia and other Eurasian countries.

In 2003, Ilya Proskuryakov started his professional career with Metallurg-2 Magnitogorsk in the Russian Hockey First League. He also debuted for Metallurg Magnitogorsk of the Russian Superleague at the age of 18.

In late January 2009, Ilya Proskuryakov played one of his greatest games, earning a 2-0 win with 26 saves for the shutout and became the first netminder to score a goal in a KHL game with an empty net goal with 15 seconds left.
