Joe Torre is a former MLB player, manager, and executive, currently serving as a special assistant to the MLB commissioner. He ranks fifth all-time in managerial wins with 2,326 and is the only major leaguer with over 2,000 hits as a player and 2,000 wins as a manager. Torre managed the New York Yankees from 1996 to 2007, leading them to six American League pennants and four World Series championships. He also served as MLB's chief baseball officer from 2011 to 2020.
