Jon Bernthal is an American actor best known for his roles in popular television series. He gained initial recognition as Shane Walsh in 'The Walking Dead'. Bernthal achieved significant fame for portraying Frank Castle/The Punisher in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, spanning appearances in 'Daredevil' and his own spin-off series, 'The Punisher', with a return in 'Daredevil: Born Again'. He also won a Primetime Emmy Award for his role in 'The Bear'.
