KT Rolster is a prominent South Korean multi-gaming organization established in 1999, sponsored by Korea Telecom. As a member of the Korean e-Sports Association, they're renowned for their highly successful StarCraft and League of Legends teams. 1999: KT Rolster Founded

In 1999, KT Rolster, a South Korean multi-gaming organization, was founded with Korea Telecom as its head sponsor. The organization became a member of the Korean e-Sports Association.

1999: StarCraft Team KTF n016 Progame Team Created

In 1999, the organization began with a StarCraft team named KTF n016 Progame Team, sponsored by Korea Telecom Freetel.

2001: Team Renamed KTF MagicNs

In 2001, the StarCraft team KTF n016 Progame Team was renamed KTF MagicNs.

August 2009: Team Renamed KT Rolster

In August 2009, following a merger of its sponsor with Korean Telecom, the organization was renamed KT Rolster, short for "Roller Coaster".

2011: Transition to Starcraft II

In 2011, KT Rolster transitioned to Starcraft II during the hybrid 2011-2012 Proleague Season 2.

October 2012: kt Rolster Added League of Legends Teams

In October 2012, kt Rolster expanded by adding two League of Legends teams, incorporating members from NaJin Shield and the disbanded StarTale.
