Kalani Sitake is a Tongan-American football coach and former player, currently serving as the head football coach at Brigham Young University (BYU) since 2015. He holds the distinction of being the first Tongan to become a collegiate head football coach. Sitake played college football as a fullback at BYU under LaVell Edwards before embarking on his coaching career. Prior to his role at BYU, he served as defensive coordinator and associate head coach at both the University of Utah and Oregon State University (OSU). Sitake was inducted into the Polynesian Football Hall of Fame in 2025.
