Kumar Rocker is a professional baseball pitcher currently playing for the Texas Rangers in MLB. He gained prominence during his college baseball career at Vanderbilt University. Initially drafted by the New York Mets as the 10th pick in 2021, he didn't sign. After a year in the Frontier League, he was drafted third overall by the Texas Rangers in 2022. He signed with the Rangers and debuted in MLB in 2024.

In 2017, as a junior at North Oconee High School, Kumar Rocker had a 1.63 ERA with 68 strikeouts in 55+2⁄3 innings, played in the Under Armour All-America Baseball Game and Perfect Game All-American Classic, and played for the USA Baseball 18U National Team.
In 2018, Kumar Rocker committed to Vanderbilt University to play college baseball. He was drafted in the 38th round by the Colorado Rockies but did not sign, opting to attend Vanderbilt.
On June 8, 2019, Kumar Rocker threw a no-hitter in the Super Regional round of the NCAA Division I baseball tournament, recording 19 strikeouts as Vanderbilt beat Duke 3–0.
On June 26, 2019, Kumar Rocker was named the 2019 College World Series Most Outstanding Player after Vanderbilt captured the 2019 NCAA Division I Baseball Championship. He finished his freshman season with a 12–5 record and was named the 2019 Baseball America Freshman of the Year.
In 2021, Kumar Rocker was drafted by the New York Mets as the 10th pick in the MLB draft, but he was not signed due to medical concerns.

On May 13, 2022, Kumar Rocker signed with the Tri-City ValleyCats of the Frontier League. Prior to the draft, he had a 1.35 ERA with 32 strikeouts and four walks in 20 innings.
