The Mallorca Championships is an ATP 250 professional tennis tournament held annually in June at the Mallorca Country Club in Santa Ponsa, Mallorca, Spain. Played on outdoor grass courts, it serves as a lead-up event to the Wimbledon Championships.

June 2014: WTA Announces New Grass Court Tournament in Mallorca

In June 2014, the WTA announced the organization of a new grass court tennis tournament in Mallorca, scheduled to begin in 2016, as part of the expansion of the grass court swing between the French Open and Wimbledon.

June 2019: Final Edition of WTA Mallorca Open

In June 2019, the last edition of the WTA Mallorca Open took place. The event's sanction and International classification were then transferred to the Birmingham Classic for the following year.
