Marlo Thomas is an accomplished American actress, producer, author, and social activist, most famously known for her role as Ann Marie in the sitcom *That Girl* and her *Free to Be... You and Me* franchise. Her work has garnered her numerous accolades, including three Primetime Emmy Awards, a Daytime Emmy Award, a Golden Globe Award, a Peabody Award, and a Grammy Award. She was also inducted into the Broadcasting and Cable Hall of Fame. Thomas was married to Phil Donahue from May 1980 until his recent death in August 2024.
