Melanie Martinez is an American singer and songwriter who gained recognition after appearing on The Voice in 2012. She was born and raised in New York. Following her appearance on the show, she signed with Atlantic Records and released her debut single "Dollhouse", which was followed by an EP of the same name in 2014.
