2025: SNL appearances and political activism

In 2025, during trade tensions between Canada and the U.S., Mike Myers showed his support for Canada on 'Saturday Night Live' on March 1 by wearing a "Canada is not for sale" T-shirt. Then, on March 8, he used the hockey phrase "elbows up" to challenge then-President Trump, contributing to Canadian nationalist sentiment.
