NiJaree Canady is an accomplished American college softball pitcher currently playing for Texas Tech, after transferring from Stanford. Her freshman year in 2023 earned her the title of NFCA National Freshman of the Year. In 2024, she was named USA Softball Collegiate Player of the Year. Showing her future potential, Canady was drafted second overall by the Texas Volts in the 2026 Athletes Unlimited Softball League draft.

She helped lead the Trojans to a second straight Class 6A state championship and was named Kansas Softball Gatorade Player of the Year for the second consecutive year.
