Oscar Robertson, nicknamed "the Big O," is a retired American professional basketball player renowned as one of the greatest point guards ever. Playing for the Cincinnati Royals and Milwaukee Bucks, he achieved 12 All-Star selections, 11 All-NBA Team honors, and the 1964 MVP award. Robertson famously averaged a triple-double for the 1962 season, a historic first in the NBA. He played a vital role in the Milwaukee Bucks' inaugural NBA championship in 1971. His early career was notably affected by racism.
