History of Paul Biya in Timeline
Paul Biya is the current President of Cameroon, having held the position since 1982. He previously served as Prime Minister from 1975 to 1982 under President Ahmadou Ahidjo. Biya is one of the longest-ruling presidents in Africa and the world, and also the oldest head of state globally as of 2025.
