USA Network

USA Network is an American basic cable television channel that launched in 1977 as Madison Square Garden Sports Network. It is owned by the NBCUniversal Media Group, a division of Comcast's NBCUniversal. Originally focused on sports, it transitioned to a broader entertainment format.

September 22, 1977: USA Network Launched as Madison Square Garden Sports Network
