Riley Patterson is an American football kicker currently playing for the Miami Dolphins in the NFL. Prior to joining the Dolphins, he played college football at Memphis. He has also spent time with multiple other NFL teams, including the Detroit Lions, Jacksonville Jaguars, Cleveland Browns, and New York Jets. Patterson's professional career is focused on his role as a placekicker.

On November 16, 2021, Riley Patterson was signed by the Detroit Lions off the Patriots practice squad and made two extra points in his NFL debut against the Chicago Bears.
On December 5, 2021, Riley Patterson made his first field goal in a game against the Minnesota Vikings.
On August 31, 2022, Riley Patterson was claimed off waivers by the Jacksonville Jaguars.
On January 14, 2023, Riley Patterson kicked the game-winning field goal to help the Jaguars complete a 31–30 comeback win over the Los Angeles Chargers in the Wild Card Round.
On May 25, 2023, Riley Patterson was traded to the Lions in exchange for an undisclosed draft pick following his release from Jacksonville.
On December 17, 2023, Riley Patterson was inactive for the Detroit Lions due to missing two extra points in three games. He was replaced by Michael Badgley.
