June 14, 2021: Chemtool Plant Explosion and Fire

On June 14, 2021, the Chemtool Lubrication plant in Rockton experienced a large explosion and fire. While there were no serious injuries, a one-mile radius surrounding the plant was evacuated. The resulting smoke plume was visible up to 75 miles away.
